Sailor 1911L Fountain Pen - Black / King Eagle Nib
This Sailor 1911 Large fountain pen features a solid glossy black resin barrel and cap, complemented by gold-plated accents. It comes equipped with Sailor's legendary 21k yellow gold nib with a special King Eagle nib. The cap screws to open/close and can push to post onto the back of the barrel when writing. The 1911L comes with a Sailor proprietary converter as well as two proprietary Sailor Black ink cartridges.
The heart of this pen is its distinctive and specialized nib. It’s designed to provide a writing experience reminiscent of a traditional brush.
Unique Construction: The King Eagle nib is crafted by layering three nib sheets at the tip. This process results in a pen point that is even taller than a Cross Point nib. It features a unique three-layered tip with an elongated vertical point.
Dynamic Writing: The design allows the pen to produce especially bold horizontal strokes. Writers can enjoy dynamic and expressive line variation depending on the writing angle and direction.
Smooth Flow: Its rich, high ink flow ensures smooth writing. This means the pen glides easily even on rough-textured paper such as washi.
